Aniston: 'I would like to be a doctor'

Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she almost became a doctor before she decided to pursue a career in acting.

The Marley And Me star admitted that she used to spend hours watching medical dramas with her actor father.

"I'm obsessed with surgery and doctors," she told People. "My dad was going to be a doctor for a period, and we'd watch medical shows.

"As for therapy, I was always the friend people came to, 'Can I talk to you about something?' I really enjoyed that."

Marley and Me opens in the UK next year.
