Kym Marsh was 'terrified' over new romance

Kym Marsh has admitted that she was "terrified" about going public with her latest romance earlier this year.

The Coronation Street star confirmed that she was dating Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas when they both appeared at the Inside Soap Awards 2008 launch in July.

"I remember I was terrified of us posing in front of everyone for the first time, but it was fine," Marsh explained. "Jamie is lovely. We have a similar sense of humour and I get on well with his little boy, Billy. Equally he gets on well with my children, David and Emily."

Marsh added that she was "annoyed" when press reports linked her to Lee Sharpe in May.

"I think at that point people were just desperate to pair me up with someone because it hadn't been long since me and Jack [Ryder] had broken up," she said. "It was kind of annoying as I had to ring Jack and say, 'Jack, it's not true'. He was like, 'I know, I know'."

The actress confirmed that she is expecting a baby with Lomas earlier this month.
