Daniel Craig has admitted that he found learning Russian for his upcoming film a "nightmare".

The Bond star revealed that he was the "worst student" when it came to mastering the Slavic language for his role in new movie Defiance, according to WENN.

"It was a nightmare for me because I'm just the worst student in the world," he said. "I left school at 16. I had to do it phonetically, learn it and understand it."

Defiance is set in Poland during World War II. Craig plays one of four Jewish brothers who escape from the Nazis and fight back to rescue their fellow Jews.
