'Lonely' Adele hoping for romance

Adele has revealed that she is hoping for romance in the New Year after feeling lonely over the festive period.

The 20-year-old singer told readers of her online blog that she is looking to the future after sleeping through most of Christmas Day.

She added: "I had Christmas night on my own. Charming. Glamour ...? whatever. Chatting to myself and listening to Free Falling... typical night.

"I hope I'll pluck up the courage to tell this boy that I like him."

The 'Chasing Pavements' star is also said to be making plans for duets with Estelle and X Factor's Laura White in 2009.
