Johansson 'pleased' with private wedding

Scarlett Johansson has revealed that she is pleased that her wedding ceremony earlier this year remained private.

The actress, who married Ryan Reynolds at a Canadian wilderness resort outside Vancouver in September, said that she is happy she managed to keep the nupitals under wraps.

"It was my mission to have a moment of privacy, to do something for myself," she told the LA Times.

Johansson also disclosed her ambition to one day make her own movies, saying: "I would love to be able to do that someday, have a production company and encourage other directors and writers to follow their vision."

However, the Lost In Translation actress claimed that she does not think her aspiration will affect her big screen career. "I feel like the hype that comes with being young in the industry will kind of dissipate and that there are some really good roles in my future. Then again, I say that as an actor who thinks every job is their last job," she said.
