Amy Winehouse has been summoned to appear at a Norwegian court on January 12 to appeal against a fine for drugs possession.
The 25-year-old and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil were arrested in the country in October 2007 after they were found with seven grams of marijuana in their hotel room.
The couple were fined £294 each and released, but the singer reportedly later contested the fine, alleging that the police had made a mistake.
The trial was originally scheduled for the beginning of last year, but was postponed following the imprisonment of Fielder-Civil, who was jailed for assaulting pub landlord James King in Hoxton, East London.
Winehouse is expected to attend the January 12 hearing, according to prosecutor Rudolph Christoffersen.
"She is the one who appealed, so that makes it her appeal," he told the Associated Press. "Often, if you don't appear at your own hearing, then the court will dismiss the appeal.
"I was informed by British police on December 23 that she has been legally summoned, and we expect that she will be there when the trial opens on January 12."
