Church 'eating curries to speed up birth'

Charlotte Church is reportedly eating pineapples and curries to speed up the arrival of her second child.

According to The Mirror, the Welsh singer wants to have her baby at home and is resorting to "old wives' remedies" to avoid being induced in hospital.

A source said: "Charlotte's not had any twinges yet so she's trying all the old wives' remedies.

"She's hoping the curry, pineapples and raspberry tea will work and has put the midwife's number in her mobile so she can act fast when things happen."

Church and partner Gavin Henson welcomed first child Ruby Megan in September 2007.
