Ricci: 'I'm useless in the kitchen'

Christina Ricci has admitted that her cooking skills extend only as far as boiling water for pasta.

The 28-year-old Speed Racer actress blamed her profession for her lack of culinary knowledge.

Bang Showbiz quotes her as saying: "I can cook about two things. I can boil hot water for the only pasta I can make.

"I blame my career, actors work crazy schedules and we are away so often. I just don't the time to learn how to make stuff.

"But I need to. When you get back home after shooting there is always a great desire to create some kind of normalcy."
