Travolta's son dies in bath, aged 16

John Travolta's 16-year-old son Jett has been found dead at the actor's holiday home in the Bahamas.

Jett Travolta, who is said to have suffered from fits, was staying with his family when he reportedly fell and hit his head on the tub. He was rushed to a Freeport hospital after a caretaker found him. He was pronounced dead on arrival.

"Information is that Jett suffered from seizures. He was last seen when he went to use the bathroom at their residence," said a spokesperson for local police.

Jett was the only son of 54-year-old Travolta and Kelly Preston. The couple also have an eight-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu.
