Hudson 'not performing' for Obama

Jennifer Hudson has denied speculation that she will perform at Barack Obama's inauguration on January 20.

An earlier report in the New York Post had suggested that the Dreamgirls star had been lined up to sing 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at the event.

However, a representative for Hudson slammed the rumours, telling Access Hollywood: "There is no truth to this."

The Oscar-winning actress, who has not performed in public since the deaths of her family members last October, is still reported to be attending February's pre-Grammy MusiCares Person of the Year event, in honour of Neil Diamond.
