'Gossip Girl' star files for divorce

Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford has filed for divorce from her husband Daniel Giersch after two years of marriage.

The actress, who is about three months pregnant, cited "irreconcilable differences" on the December 30 paperwork, reports TMZ.

Rutherford, who plays Lily van der Woodsen on the CW show, confirmed that she was expecting her second child last month. She already has a two-year-old son with businessman Giersch.

The 40-year-old was previously married to banker Carlos Tarajano from June 2001 to January 2002.
