Morissette 'not rushing into marriage'

Alanis Morissette has revealed that she is not rushing into marriage with her boyfriend Tom Ballanco.

The Canadian singer has been dating Ballanco for 18 months, but refuses to admit that the couple will tie the knot soon.

"I could see in the not-too-distant future being married with children, absolutely, but I'm in no crazy rush," she told OK!.

"I wildly respect him. How he views the world, the lens through which he looks at life is very similar to mine. To have that in common makes me sleep well at night."

Morissette was previously engaged to actor Ryan Reynolds, who has since gone on to marry Scarlett Johansson.
