Stars offer condolences to Travolta family

John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston have received messages of condolences following the death of their son Jett.

Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey and Tom Cruise have all offered sympathy after the 16-year-old passed away on January 2.

Jett Travolta reportedly fell and hit his head in a bath tub after suffering a seizure.

"Everybody has reached out. It seems like the world has reached out and feels the pain that John and Kelly are going through," the family's lawyer Michael Ossi told CNN.

"Thousands and thousands of phone calls have been received. Oprah has called, you name it, they've called."

An autopsy was scheduled to be carried out today.
