An anonymous user found a way into the site, which hosts micro-blogging features and acts as a social networking tool.
The hacker assumed Spears's identity and posted: "Hi Yall! Brit Brit here, just wanted to update you all on the size of my vagina. Its about four feet wide with razor sharp teeth."
According to TechCrunch, the unknown hacker is also thought to be responsible for leaving messages on the Twitter accounts of Barack Obama and US political pundit Bill O'Reilly.
