Hathaway: 'I dream of motherhood'

Anne Hathaway has revealed her desire to become a mother.

Speaking at the New York premiere of her new film Bride Wars, the 26-year-old said that motherhood is a higher priority for her than walking down the aisle.

"You know, I don't really care about getting married," she said. "I think it'll be really cool if it happened. I definitely want to be a mum, and I like the idea of meeting someone that I actually look forward to waking up to every day."

Hathaway, who split from long-term boyfriend Raffaello Follieri last summer, suggested that staying happy is the secret to her slimline figure.

"I hang out with my friends, I laugh, I have dance-offs, I try not to do too many foolish things, I drink a lot of water, I quit smoking, stuff like that," she said.
