Vorderman names new home Sloblock?

Carol Vorderman has reportedly named her new home Sloblock Hall in reference to a running gag on Countdown.

According to The Sun, the former quiz show star is applying for permission from her council to use the name, which is an anagram of b****cks.

Sloblock originated from a sketch on A Bit Of Fry & Laurie which spoofed Countdown's letters game by randomly pulling out the lewd anagram.

Afterwards, hosts Richard Whiteley and Vorderman regularly joked about the word on the programme.

"Carol has loads of fond memories of Countdown and wants to name her new house Sloblock Hall after all the laughs she had on the show," said a source.

"She spent the best years of her life there and feels the name is a tribute to both the show and to Richard, her late partner in crime. Of course it's also a bit of a dig at [Channel 4] bosses - Richard will be grinning down at her."
