Winehouse holidays with Cipriani friend

Amy Winehouse is vacationing in the Caribbean with a close friend of rugby star Danny Cipriani.

The 'Rehab' singer met Joshua Bowen on the island of St. Lucia and the couple have struck up a friendship.

However, 21-year-old Bowen remained coy on rumours of a romance when asked about his relationship with Winehouse.

"'She's just a cool girl, very nice, and we're just very friendly. She's a good laugh - she is such a lovely girl and on great form," he told the Daily Mail.

"I can't say much more than that. I have been having a lovely time relaxing. It's not been all party-party. I don't drink much at all, as it happens."

Bowen described himself as a "budding young actor" but insisted that he would "rather get my name out there because of my acting rather than who I'm being photographed with".

Winehouse split from husband Blake Fielder-Civil last November after he accepted blame for her drug addiction. However, recent reports have suggested that the singer will cut her vacation short to reunite with her jailed partner.
