The 'Disturbia' singer, who is known for her sexy stage outfits, will abide by the Muslim-majority country's strict rules on performers' dress when she plays in Kuala Lumpur on February 13.
Government guidelines state that a female performer must be covered from the top of her chest, including her shoulders, to her knees.
Pineapple Concerts managing director Razman Razali revealed that the star's management are "aware of the country's regulations and the difficulties of doing a show".
Rihanna is not the first female singer to face the country's strict dress code. In 2007, Gwen Stefani called her agreement to cover up a "major sacrifice" after facing criticism from a group of Malaysian students.
Last year, the organisers of a Pussycat Dolls concert were fined £1,600 after the band were found to have flouted decency laws by ignoring the dress regulations.
