Louise Redknapp has started filming a documentary about women who go to extreme lengths to diet during pregnancy.
The former Eternal singer, 34, has flown to California to make a film about the worrying new trend known as 'pregorexia'.
The star, who lost 11 pounds in 30 days while filming The Truth About Size Zero in 2007, revealed that making the new programme proved stressful.
"It affected me quite deeply, these women are carrying around such guilt, but they have an illness and just because they fall pregnant, that illness doesn't go away," she told the Daily Mail.
Redknapp admitted that she is keen to get back to work quickly after giving birth to second son Beau eight weeks ago.
"As much as I adore my boys, I like work and having that independence, and I actually think I'm a better mother for it," she said.
"It means that when I'm at home, my attention is focused on them completely."
