Kate Hudson: 'I plan to elope'

Kate Hudson has revealed that she would rather elope than have a lavish wedding ceremony.

The actress, who was married to Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes for seven years, said that she is unsure if she will walk down the aisle again.

"Who knows if I will get married again? I wouldn't rule it out though. But I would elope and then have a party," Bang Showbiz quotes her as saying.

The 29-year-old recalled that her first wedding was stressful as both families were eager to make their feelings known ahead of the big day.

She said: "It gets so screwed up because you're dealing with two families, you're dealing with your parents - some parents try to stay out of it, but they always have to have their word. You're in an awkward position. It's like a movie premiere. It's a big production."
