Woman guilty of stalking Martin Shaw

A Norfolk woman has been found guilty of harassing Judge John Deed star Martin Shaw.

66-year-old Sandra Price, from Hingham, was arrested after pouring petrol through the actor's partner's letterbox in July. She was found guilty at King's Lynn Magistrates' Court of harassing Shaw and girlfriend Karen da Silva between January 2003 and July 2008.

"I am happy it's over. I thought it was conducted fairly and diligently on both sides. I think justice was done. I'm glad it's over. I hope that this ends now and Mrs Price finds some peace," said Shaw.

Presiding District Judge Tim Daber said that Price may be sent to prison when she is sentenced next week.

"At this stage I cannot rule out any sentencing option but I can't say custody is inevitable in this case," he said.
