Costner hospitalised in Los Angeles

Kevin Costner stayed overnight in hospital this week after complaining about feeling lightheaded while driving.

The 53-year-old actor was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.

"Kevin was driving in the Hollywood area Tuesday morning when he began to feel lightheaded," spokesman Arnold Robinson told People. "He called 911 and they kept him overnight in the hospital."

Robinson added that the Tin Cup star was released the following day after tests conducted on him showed nothing was wrong.

"He's feeling fine and is back on his feet," said the representative.
