Winehouse 'threw drink over woman'

Amy Winehouse has reportedly escaped police charges after throwing a glass of water over a tourist.

The 'Rehab' singer, currently holidaying in the Caribbean, threw her drink at an unnamed woman after becoming angry during dinner at her St. Lucia resort.

However, the 25-year-old escaped a formal investigation by apologising to the woman, according to The Sun.

"Amy misunderstood a conversation and wrongly believed a slight was made. The matter has been resolved," said her spokesperson.

The singer is thought to have extended her stay in the Caribbean for a further week, amid rumours that she is romancing budding actor Josh Bowman.
