Lohan: 'Press play head games'

Lindsay Lohan has accused the press of playing "head games" when they write about her.

The Mean Girls star hit the headlines earlier this week when rumours circulated that she had split from girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

Lohan issued a swift denial on her MySpace blog. However, the actress has now questioned why the reports surfaced in the first place.

"Head games - that's what the tabloids and pap's play with everyone...don't they?" she wrote. "Everyone plays games, but it gets to the point sometimes when you just want to know why."

Last year, Lohan claimed that the media's interest in her life made her feel like a "caged animal".
