Titmuss content with stage career

Abi Titmuss has said that she is happier acting than working as a glamour model.

Titmuss, who performed in various stage shows in 2007, said that she felt she was being more true to herself as a thespian.

"Last year was one of my best years so far," she is quoted as saying. "I made a conscious decision to stop the glamour modelling about two and a half years ago and I'm going back to what I really want to do.

"Some of the plays I've done I haven't even been paid for because that's what you have to do and where you have to start.

"This last year I've been true to myself. That [old] Abi Titmuss character isn't really who I want to be."

The 32-year-old will appear in the play Naked Truth and film Ghost Hunters Live later this year.
