Russell Brand starstruck by footballer

Russell Brand has admitted that he gets starstruck whenever he meets West Ham footballer Mark Noble.

The comedian claimed that he is more comfortable speaking with American popstars than his sporting idols.

"I can snog Pink or throw Christina Aguilera around a bit," he told FourFourTwo "But because Mark plays for West Ham, I develop a squeaky voice and say silly things."

Brand also revealed that he recently enjoyed discovering that one of his sexual partners had previously romanced former West Ham goalkeeper Phil Parkes.

"Recently I went to a game and met Phil," said Brand. "I didn't approach him at first, not least because a few years ago I slept with a woman who told me she’d slept with him a long time ago.

"I was really into that. Also she was nice and had really big boobs."
