Metcalfe flattered by Kanye interest

Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe has admitted that she is flattered by Kanye West's interest in her.

West posted pictures of the soap star on his official blog last summer, sparking rumours that he wanted a date with her.

Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes Fisher, told the Daily Star: "I'm very flattered. I'd just love to be in his next music video."

Speaking about her sex symbol status, the actress said: "It's a weird label to have. I am flattered but people only see me when I am doing photo shoots, or on the show when I have had my hair and makeup done.

"They don't see me first thing in the morning, so they might change their minds if they did!"

She added: "My bum and I have a love-hate relationship. It's not as toned as it could be and sometimes I think it's too big. But I've learned to accept my flaws. If I have a wobbly bit on my inside thigh, I deal with it."

Metcalfe's former lovers include Big Brother 8 contestant Ziggy Lichman and Liverpool footballer Jermaine Pennant.
