Alba throws husband surprise party

Jessica Alba threw a surprise party for husband Cash Warren over the weekend.

The Sin City actress invited 80 guests to celebrate Warren's 30th birthday at a bash in Las Vegas before heading to a nightclub where she had reserved a VIP area.

A source told People that Alba took Warren out for the day in order to keep him off the scent, saying: "She knew his entire party was checking in so she wanted him to be away from everything so no-one would spoil the surprise."

Warren, who cried over the effort his wife had made to celebrate the occasion, revealed how joyous the night had been.

"I would be remiss if I didn't thank my beautiful wife and best friend in the whole world, Jessica," he said. "I can't tell you how surprised and happy I was to see all of you. Those tears were real. I can't act. It doesn't run in the family. But it's tears of love for all of you."
