Co-star hails "fantastic" Swayze

Patrick Swayze has been praised by his Beast co-star Travis Fimmel.

Fimmel complimented the actor's professionalism in the face of his cancer diagnosis.

"You couldn't get a nicer guy. He's great in the show, he's fantastic. He shows up every day. You wouldn't know there's anything wrong with him at all," he said.

The Australian actor added that Swayze has helped him develop his skills, showing him how best to work with others during filming of the US drama.

"He taught me a lot about elegance, talking to creative people on set, because everybody's got their idea of stuff and it's a collaboration, so it's always gonna be conflicted," he said. "And he helped me deal with that a lot."

Swayze is currently in hospital after admitting himself with pneumonia.
