Katona: 'I've shed six stone'

Kerry Katona has admitted that she has lost six stone in less than nine months.

The former Atomic Kitten singer claims to have dropped from 14 stone to eight after embarking on a strict diet and exercise plan.

"I'm eight stone now but I want to be eight and a half," she told OK!.

"I'll be happy then because I don't like being this thin. I'm a bit lighter than I was in my Atomic Kitten days."

Despite undergoing liposuction and breast augmentation surgery three months ago, Katona attributed much of her weight loss to stopping medication for her bipolar disorder.

"I feel so much better since I came off my medication. Literally 16 days after I came off the chlorpromazine my weight has just dropped, but when I was pregnant with Max that was the only bipolar med I could go on," she said.

"After Max, I carried on taking it but when I stopped my weight just dropped."

Katona is rumoured to be in talks with Atomic Kitten to make a comeback as a four-piece.
