Pattinson 'got in trouble' for cutting hair

Robert Pattinson got in trouble for cutting off his signature shaggy hair, according to his Twilight co-star.

Ashley Greene, who played vampire Alice Cullen in the hit movie, told E! News that she had heard that movie bosses were not happy with the British actor's new look.

"I heard he got in trouble for cutting his hair," she revealed at Sunday night's In Style/WB Golden Globes afterparty.

"But what can I say? I like guys with longer hair... I think he's getting enough flack, I'm sure. I mean his every move is recorded and photographed and documented, so I'm not going to give him a hard time."

The 21-year-old actress added that she was thrilled to see co-star Taylor Lautner returning for the film's highly anticipated sequel New Moon.

"Everyone loves him. I think it's absolutely ridiculous to think that someone could replace him," she said.

New Moon is scheduled to begin production later this year.
