Spears, Timberlake have 'restaurant run-in'

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake reportedly had an "uncomfortable" reunion when they met at a West Hollywood restaurant on Monday night.

According to Us Weekly, Timberlake was enjoying a romantic dinner with girlfriend Jessica Biel at Yatai Asian Tapas Bar when Spears arrived with her mother.

An onlooker described the run-in as "uncomfortable", adding that the diner is "so small...like the size of a living room.

"Jessica looked gorgeous, [Spears] didn't look the best, but she probably thought no one would see her, as this restaurant isn't usually a hot spot."

Another witness said: "Jessica and Justin looked to be slumping down in their seats to avoid [Spears]. She left 30 minutes later. Shortly afterward, Justin and Jessica got in their car and left."

Spears and Timberlake dated from 1999 to 2002, after meeting as children on the New Mickey Mouse Club.
