Britney moves to $8.9m Calabasas home

Britney Spears has begun moving into her $8.9 million [£6.1 million] new California home, say reports.

The singer wrote about the move to the city of Calabasas on her Twitter account, commenting: "I just took my babies to our new home, and they loved it! I can't wait to move in."

According to X-17, Spears was seen unloading children's toys belonging to sons Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2, at the Prado De Los Suenos property in The Oaks.

Last June, Spears revealed in a court document that she wanted to move to "a lower density, more quiet and less trafficked neighborhood" which was "more accessible to parks and recreation areas" for her children.

Her Studio City six-bedroom house is currently on the market for $7.195 million [£4.95 million]. It has 7,500 square feet of land and features a wet bar, library, pool, spa and den.
