Fischer: 'Crock Pot improved my sex life'

American Office star Jenna Fischer has said that using a Crock Pot has improved her sex life.

The actress, who plays Pam Beesley in the NBC sitcom, said her boyfriend Lee Kirk "adored" the slow cooker.

"Since we didn't have to cook [at night], it left time for hanky-panky!" she told Self. "[It's] the best invention since the microwave for busy women who want a home-cooked meal."

Fischer was taking part in a Get-Healthier-And-Happier Challenge, which included 20-minute daily jogs, cleaning out her closet and ditching her BlackBerry for a day.

Speaking about working on The Office without her phone, she said: "We had so much fun [on set].

"I spent way more time talking to different crew members and joking with other actors. It turned out to be one of the most fun shoots of the year. I totally believe it was because I wasn't distracted by my BlackBerry."
