Sheridan denies Spade romance

Nicollette Sheridan has denied rumours that she is dating comic actor David Spade.

The Desperate Housewives actress was widely thought to have embarked on a new romance after being spotted 'making out' with Spade at her 45th birthday celebrations in November.

Sheridan, who ended her engagement with Michael Bolton last year, told Ellen DeGeneres that the pair are "just friends".

Pressed on the relationship by DeGeneres, Sheridan said: "Do you see us together? Really?"
