Howerd's home to be exorcised

The country mansion of the late Frankie Howerd is to be exorcised in an attempt to rid the property of spooks.

Wavering House, at Weare in Somerset, is being haunted by ghosts, reports The Mirror.

The property's curator said: "They'd have scared the toupee off him."

Howerd's former partner and manager Dennis Heymer put the house on the market last May along with a collection of the comic's memorabilia.

Howerd died in 1992 at the age of 75.
