Pedro Aguilar dies, aged 81

Latin mambo star Pedro Aguilar has died at the age of 81.
Aguilar, who found fame with his innovative style of mambo dance, died of heart failure in Miami, Florida on January 13.
The Puerto Rican-born star, often referred to as Cuban Pete, grew famous on the New York dance scene during the 1940s and 50s.
Having contributed over 100 original movements to Latin dance, Aguilar went on to teach actor Antonio Banderas to mambo.
He is survived by two daughters, Denise Gerard and Pertina Aguilar, and a son, Sean Peter Aguilar.
