Madeley: 'Dad told me to strip'

Chloe Madeley has admitted that her father encouraged her to become a lingerie model.

Madeley, the daughter of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, has revealed that her dad helped to her secure a deal with underwear brand Miss Ultimo.

"I would never want to do anything that embarrasses them, so I do run things by them and Dad was like, 'Are you crazy? You have to do this!' and he jumped up and started emailing our management company to say it was a definite yes," she told Hello!.

The 21-year-old claimed that her modelling career was something that her mother would have avoided.

"Mum would never have done anything like this when she was my age, but then she was the total opposite of me," she said.

"Mum was never skinny. She’s always saying to me, 'You're so lucky that you inherited your dad's metabolism.' She tells me I've got a lovely figure and should be proud of it because she was always bigger and felt like a bit of an outsider at school."

"She wasn’t confident at all, whereas I so am."
