Bunton: 'Touring made Mel C broody'

Emma Bunton has claimed that the Spice Girls reunion tour encouraged Melanie Chisholm to think about children.

The 'Maybe' singer admitted that Chisholm, who is a expecting her first child with partner Thomas Starr, probably became broody after seeing all her bandmates with their families.

"Being on tour with all us girls having all our children with us obviously gave her a bit of a push in the right direction! But she's going to be so amazing," she told The Mirror.

"She's so that natural mother, really down to earth, gorgeous woman.

"I'm so excited. I saw her over Christmas and she's just wonderful, I can't wait to meet her little 'un."
