Morrissey: 'Posh makes me want to die'

Morrissey has launched a scathing attack on Victoria Beckham in a magazine interview.

The singer criticised the former Spice Girl before moving on to celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

"It will be worth being dead just to get away from Victoria Beckham," he told Canadian Maxim.

Asked who he would most like to 'kick in the eye' before he dies, the former Smiths frontman replied: "Jamie Oliver. That meat-fed horror Jamie 'Orrible' Oliver. If he's a master chef, then I'm Miss Brazil 1970."

The star concluded by revealing that his preferred method of dying would be "concussed by a coconut".

Morrissey releases new album Years Of Refusal on February 29. The single 'I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris' precedes it on February 9.
