Noel attack accused has charge upgraded

A man accused of attacking Noel Gallagher on stage at Toronto's V Festival has had charges against him upgraded, reports say.

Daniel Sullivan, 47, had faced an assault charge over the September incident, which has now been increased to one count of aggravated assault.

Gallagher, 41, sustained rib injuries after allegedly being tackled from behind while performing 'Morning Glory'.

Oasis were forced to temporarily leave the stage before returning to finish the set.
