Abba ladies: 'No truth in feud'

The two female members of Abba have denied that they were ever at war.

Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad said that their relationship has been misinterpreted for years, according to Aftonbladet.

"A lot has been written about how Agnetha and I fought and quarreled with each other. There is absolutely no truth in that," Lyngstad said. "Of course we competed, but to good effect."

Rumours of the pair's disharmony increased when the band split in 1982, but Faltskog insisted that they were always friends.

"No, we didn't fight. But we have to live (through) a whole lot of such misinterpretations," she added.
