Van Outen 'engaged to Lee Mead'

Denise Van Outen is engaged to West End star Lee Mead, say tabloid reports.

According to The Mirror, Mead, 27 proposed to the TV presenter at their home in Kent before taking her on holiday to St Lucia to celebrate.

"Denise had no idea but was absolutely thrilled," said a source. "It's like a fairy tale. Denise has found her prince."

The pair, who have been dating for 18 months, met on BBC talent contest Any Dream Will Do. A spokesperson for the couple said: "They haven't set a date yet, but it will probably be later this year."

Van Outen's previous lovers include Dodgy guitarist Andy Miller and Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay.
