Crosby chased burglars in PJs

Emma Crosby chased off robbers from her neighbour's flat while dressed in just her pyjamas.

The new GMTV co-host was left "very shaken" by the incident, which happened on her first day on the ITV breakfast show.

Crosby was preparing to go to bed when she heard noises from the flat above and went to investigate, reports the Mail On Sunday. Two men were raiding the property and ran off when they were confronted by the former Sky News reporter.

"Naturally when I heard noises coming from my neighbour's apartment I went to check everything was OK. I was more than surprised to be confronted by two burglars, who ran off when they saw me. I was very shaken up and called the police," she said.

A GMTV source described the 31-year-old as the "pluckiest" presenter on the programme.
