Bleakley's ex 'blames Chiles for split'

Christine Bleakley's ex-boyfriend has apparently claimed that there was a "third person" involved in their recent break-up.

Mark Beirne reportedly cited Bleakley's One Show co-host Adrian Chiles as the reason behind their split.

A friend of Beirne told the News Of The World: "The reports that Mark dumped her are nonsense. She dumped him and he's gutted.

"He knew the relationship was going through a rough patch - but as far as he was concerned she was the one. They'd even talked about marriage. But there's a third person involved and that’s Adrian. They’re keeping it quiet for now but it’ll all come out in time."

Bleakley's friends blasted the rumours as nonsense, with one stating: "Adrian and Christine are good friends but there is nothing more to it than that. They see each other occasionally out of work but that doesn’t mean there was any romance. Adrian definitely had nothing to do with the break-up."

The couple's Belfast home has now been put on the market.
