Dixon 'unfit' for Kilimanjaro climb
Alesha Dixon has revealed that she is struggling to meet the fitness required for her upcoming Kilimanjaro climb.

The singer is taking part in the charity trek for Comic Relief but admitted that her Strictly Come Dancing win would not guarantee that she is fit enough to make it up the African mountain.

"Everyone thinks I'm still dancing, but it's been more than 12 months since I was training for Strictly," she told The Sun.

"I went on the treadmill the other day and when I came off my thighs were killing me.

"It's not a good look for girls to have big, muscly thighs so I've got to be careful with the training. I've done a few walks though, which have been pretty hard. Three hours on the treadmill is tough going.

"I didn't say yes to doing this straight away because I realised how tough the challenge was going to be. It is worth it, though. Comic Relief is a brilliant charity."

Other celebrities taking part in the expedition include Gary Barlow, Ronan Keating, Chris Moyles, Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Denise Van Outen, Fearne Cotton and Ben Shephard.
