Singer Eryka Badu has third child

Soul singer Eryka Badu has given birth to her third child, her first with hip-hop boyfriend Jay Electronica.

Jay Electronica had been giving updates of his partner's situation on his Twitter networking page.

"Feb 1 2009 my first child, my daughter was born at 1.30 pm exactly," he wrote.

"It's the happiest day of my life."

Badu already has son Seven Sirius with Outkast's Andre 3000 and daughter Puma Rose with The DOC.

Badu's single 'Honey' was nominated for three gongs at last year's MTV Music Video Awards.
