The Girls Aloud star is trying to bulk up her figure before embarking on a ten-day charity trek up Mount Kilimanjaro.
With the support of husband Ashley Cole's personal trainer, she is eating a fried breakfast, chips, hamburgers, cake, doughnuts and chocolate bars every day, according to The Mirror.
"While most girls would dread the thought of getting bigger, Cheryl can't wait to spoil herself with her favourite treats. But she's really looking forward to it as she knows she needs to be fit as possible," a source told the newspaper.
"She's a young girl trying to keep up with other climbers like Take That singer Gary Barlow. So she's getting bigger herself so she can give it her all."
The singer recently revealed that she is struggling with the pressure of getting fit for the charity expedition.
"I don't know about anybody else but I've got blisters on every toe of both feet. I sent my friend a text message the other night after a 12-mile walk on the treadmill. When I went to bed I honestly thought I wouldn't be able to get up in the morning," she said.
Other celebrities taking part in the trek include Gary Barlow, Ronan Keating, Chris Moyles, Kimberley Walsh, Denise Van Outen, Fearne Cotton and Ben Shephard.
