Goody back in hospital after chemo pain

Jade Goody has reportedly been readmitted to hospital after collapsing in "excruciating pain" following her latest chemotherapy treatment.

The 27-year-old discharged herself from London's Royal Marsden Hospital on Saturday after being taken in the day before. However, she was violently ill after returning home and readmitted herself into medical care.

Goody's spokesman Max Clifford told The Sun that the former Big Brother contestant is "going through hell".

"It is a battle for life, but her condition has not worsened and treatment is ongoing," Clifford said.

A friend added: "She is a fighter, but the treatment has just taken everything out of her and she has been in excruciating pain."

Goody was diagnosed with cervical cancer while appearing on the Indian Big Brother last August. Doctors have since given her a 40% chance of survival.

She was recently left heartbroken by the sudden death of her business mentor and 'surrogate dad' Robert Coleman, who died from a heart attack at the age of 62.
