Diaz 'hoping to buy UK country retreat'

Cameron Diaz has reportedly been overheard expressing a desire to buy a house in England.

According to the Daily Mail, the What Happens In Vegas star is considering purchasing an English countryside home with her boyfriend, Essex-born model Paul Sculfor.

"Paul is keen to have a place in Essex, preferably close to his parents’ home in Hornchurch," said a friend.

"The couple have already checked out a £2.2 million mansion near Basildon."

Diaz and Sculfor jetted into Britain last week, reportedly checking into private members' hotel Babington House in Somerset for a romantic mini-break.

"Cameron was reading the papers by the fire and talking about how they needed their own country retreat," said a hotel guest.

Earlier this month, tabloid reports suggested that Diaz was considering relocating from Los Angeles to England after "falling in love" with a mansion in Billericay.
